Future versions of LADS are concentrating on helping our customers improve the way they do business. These areas include voice activated systems, completely automated dispatch systems, enhanced Internet access, and seamless EDI (Electronic Data Interconnect) for daily invoicing of customers via the Internet and nearly instant cash receipts as a result of the EDI invoices.
Just imagine the LADS system answering your phone and listening to your conversation and typing in for you the pickup location, delivery location, and special instructions, etc. The dispatch system will request the latest traffic conditions from the Internet and then determine the best driver for the new job. The job will be electronically sent to the 2-way pager of the driver. If the driver runs into trouble with the job, the dispatch system will re-dispatch the call to the best driver to complete the job.
When the job is completed, the LADS system will send the customer an electronic bill which will trigger an automatic payment to your bank account. At the end of the week the drivers bank account will receive an electronic funds transfer for the services completed during that pay period.
